This song rules so hard. I remember finding it from a Davey G. Johnson post, so yeah. :( I can’t remember which one as   there were a lot of those posts , albeit   not just from Davey. (A whole column was named after Accept’s “Fast as a Shark,” for Bruc e’s sake.)

I continued to describe things as “Bruce” long after this article , too, FWIW. My cars are delightful monuments to Bruce, no matter how crusty they may be. My Puffalamp was named Bruce right after I found out that Davey passed away. I never met the guy, but he was s uch a huge influence on my nonsense posts that I was pretty sad about it.

Accept is generally just fun. Udo has some very Bon Scott/Brian Johnson ballpark vocals, but Mark Tornillo isn’t half bad.

I think I wasn’t a dedicated OG front page reader back then , but I like the idea of “bruce” as a commodity a car can possess.
